Why Finley control board calls look the way they do
Older Finley spas carry older packs, and parts can be the challenge. We test at board level first, repair relays and fuses where that is the fault, and source a compatible replacement pack when the board is truly gone.

Finley homes mix district water and private wells, so hardness varies lot to lot — we test on arrival rather than assume. We work Dietrich Road, the Columbia River frontage properties, the acreage south of the highway, Finley Road and the rest of Finley (99323).
Symptoms we are called for in Finley
Random resets and lost settings
A failing transformer or power supply section on the board.
Nothing at all after a storm
Dead after lightning or a grid blip — start at the pack fuses, then the board.
Heater relay welded on
The tub overheats or the heater never turns off — a common Balboa failure and repairable at board level.
How the visit runs
- Scale checked at the heater on every call
- Common parts on the van — most jobs finish in one visit
- Special parts arrive the next business day in most cases
- Full cycle test with the panel off before we leave
- If the tub is not worth fixing, we say so
Scope, plainly: the spa and what lives inside its skirt. We do not run new circuits, plumb supply lines or set new tubs.
